What’s happening

I’m spending my days working, playing Carcassonne with my lovely team during lunch. Hanging out with Gustav and gang in Lund, and Amanda and Erik in Malmö during the weekends. That’s how the last weeks have looked.
And I’m struggling to improve my design on the ongoing project and ending up so tired each day.
The holidays will hopefully make me good.

Last week I felt a need to do something out of the ordinary since my life felt a bit… linear.
Sunday evening I bought tickets to the last minute flight to stockholm and I was on my way.
Met up with Kajsa and we went to the Real Estate gig (the gig was… OK)
Walked around in a bit warmer Stockholm (without this freakin’ storm in Skåne) and then
went to sleep at my parents and slept for 3 hours, then took the earliest train to Malmö and was
back at work 10:00. Wasn’t tired until the last hour and then collapsed.
Definitely a good way to spend the sunday.

More than two weeks ago I moved to Malmö from Lund. Bit of a weird change.
I’m sharing an apartment with a really nice guy and forcing my Harry Potter obsession on him.
Talking about Harry Potter, I asked my facebook: “what would a designer in the wizarding world work with?“,
obviously trying to see myself working with something in the wizarding world without electricity.
Discussion started and two weeks later Max, a freelance designer for ustwo™, shows up in the Malmö studio and
gives me this perfect xmas gift as the answer to my question! (to design posters, catalogues, programmes, package design etc)

It includes a lot of great stuff for the harry potter fan, the letter from Hogwarts, the marauders map,
a catalogue from Borgin and Burkes, a lot of stickers, candy boxes from Honeydukes, quidditch world cup programme,
weasley’s wizard wheezes product catalogue, behind the scenes photos and lovely concept art.
This is was a perfect gift for times like these when I’m really in Harry Potter mood.
I’ve just finished Goblet of fire audiobook and listenig to the Remus Lupins.
It’s really nice to go through the books again, cause it’s been some years since I read them.
Though it’s quite sad I don’t remember the scenes how I first saw them. Replaced my the scenes in the films unfortunately.

There’s a storm coming

Eventually she decided to come down to Lund again. And it’s been great seeing her.

We made Butterbeer Latte (It had a great magical taste. But it was a bit too much for me..)
This is the girl who forced me to read Harry Potter. And now they’re calling me Harry Potter at work,
that’s how much of my life it got. I guess I tend to talk about it quite a lot at work…

The first polaroids

A month ago a friend of mine, found me a polaroid camera on a flee market in Lund.
I didn’t use it until now. The result was great! I’m just wondering why the top part of the images got that golden/shiny background, like the ink was peeled off… Need to look into that.
But it’s quite charming in a way.

Looks like she belongs in Slytherin. totally.
As usual it’s been great having Frida here. We’ve been walking around in Lund, photographing, experimenting with my new polaroid camera (I’ll upload
the images in the next post), going to lovely cafés and watching Potter DH part 2,
Blue Valentine, and ofc some Mighty Boosh.
Pretty much what we usually do.

Why we mainly were in London this time

I had the idea of having just one or two photos for each post. But, that’s no fun,
and it was too hard to sum up everything in just one photo. So I’ll do it this way.
Anyway, London was awesome as usual, I’m hopefully gonna visit out studio soon again!
(or even stay for a longer period if I’m lucky…).
Except for working there (well, it was just for a day) we went to the Lovebox festival to see the Wombats. awesome awesome.
